Inside our cottage bakehouse

At Doughpamine, we operate a little differently from a traditional storefront bakery. Instead of baking every day, we work under Rhode Island’s Cottage Food License, which allows us to bake and sell directly from our home kitchen. This means every loaf and bagel you order is made fresh, just for you.

Being a licensed cottage bakery lets us share our handmade breads and bagels safely with our local community while keeping the small-batch care that comes from a home kitchen. Unlike commercial bakeries that produce in large quantities, we bake only what is preordered, focusing on quality and freshness over volume.

Orders are placed during the week and baked to order between Friday and Sunday. This approach gives each bake the time and attention it deserves and reduces food waste. Every item that leaves our kitchen has been made with care, intention, and a love for baking.

Operating as a cottage bakery also helps us stay connected to the community that supports us. It is a personal way to bake, share, and grow.

Doughpamine may be small, but that is what makes it special. We are proud to be a Rhode Island cottage bakery where every bake starts at home and ends at your table.
