Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to some of the most common questions we get. If you don’t find what you need, feel free to contact us.
Q: What does “cottage licensed” mean?
A: Being cottage licensed means we are approved to sell homemade, shelf-stable baked goods under Rhode Island’s cottage food laws. Doughpamine is fully licensed and compliant, allowing us to sell our products directly to you.
Q: How do I order?
A: You can preorder online and choose a pickup or delivery time during checkout. Pickup and delivery are available Friday to Sunday. Delivery is limited to Aquidneck Island and Jamestown.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are based in the heart of Middletown, Rhode Island, just off West Main Road. Our exact address will be shared after you place an order.
Q: How do I store my bread or bagels?
A: For bread or bagels eaten within a few days of purchase, store them in a paper bag or bread box on the counter. For longer storage, wrap them in plastic wrap or place them in a freezer-safe zipper bag, and freeze for up to two months for best quality.
Q: Can I cancel my already placed order?
A: Yes, a full refund for prepaid food orders cancelled at least 30 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery. Cancellations made less than 30 hours before pickup or delivery are not eligible for a refund.
Q: Does someone need to be home for my delivery?
A: Yes, products will not be left unattended at the door. Deliveries must be received in person during the selected delivery window. If you are unavailable at that time, you are welcome to pick up your order during our regular open hours.
