How we got started
Before Doughpamine, I started learning to bake using simple recipes I found online. I worked my way from quick breads to our favorite artisan loaf and eventually tried making bagels. My first batch turned out pretty good, but I quickly wanted to learn how to make a really good bagel. What started as a fun way to learn soon became a real passion for creating fresh, homemade breads and bagels to share with others.
As I spent more time experimenting and improving, I found joy in the process, especially in seeing family and friends smile over something I made by hand. That happiness became the heart of Doughpamine. It felt good to see the people close to me happy, and it reminded me of my own family’s time together.
Eventually, I made it official by becoming cottage licensed, allowing me to share my breads and bagels safely with our local Rhode Island community.
Doughpamine is still growing, one batch at a time, but the mission remains the same: to bake with care, stay connected with our community and roots, and bring a little joy to every bite.
